Ideas for Zigzag Model Railways

Zigzags can be useful especially for very small layouts. One can have two stations and a track between them with a substantial running distance. Layout size can be from 30x120 cm in N scale (1x4 feet), and 50x150 cm in H0.

Micro layouts
denotes very small layouts, usually 30x120 cm (1x4 feet) or smaller. The term was introduced by Carl Arendt. He has collected many such layouts on his website and in his book, see
