Lorenz Landefunkfeuer, = Standard Beam Approach, SBA - was an early blind landing system. It had horizontal beams, but no glidepath beams, as later ILS. Remarks:
Only Amsterdam had asphalt runways according to the charts.
All other airfields had grass field when the charts were made, pre 1938. Correct?
